Meet Dr. Erdle
Dr. Erdle received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine in 2013.
Dr. Erdle completed his specialty training in Periodontics in 2016 at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Erdle was also trained in I.V. conscious sedation by the University of Pittsburgh’s Program in Dental Anesthesiology.
After successfully challenging the American Board of Periodontology in 2017, Dr. Erdle achieved Diplomate status. The American Board of Periodontology certifies in-depth knowledge and proficiency in the full scope of periodontology and dental implant surgery through examination and periodic recertification.
Dr. Erdle enjoys playing an active role in education and working with his colleagues. He has maintained a faculty role at the University of Pittsburgh Graduate Department of Periodontics where he has taught all phases of periodontal and implant therapy. Dr. Erdle has also lectured on soft tissue grafting around implants, bone grafting and ridge augmentation, and digital dentistry with 3D printing.
Professional Memberships include American Academy of Periodontology, American Board of Periodontology, American Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, International Team of Implantology, Midwest Society of Periodontology, Illinois Society of Periodontists, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society.
